AmeriGas is an LPG distribution company headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with extensive operations in the United States. AmeriGas Partners, L.P. is a publicly traded master limited partnership (NYSE: APU). UGI Corporation, through subsidiaries, is the sole General Partner and owns 26% of the Partnership.
AmeriGas was founded in 1959, and operates more than 2,500 distribution locations in all 50 U.S. states. AmeriGas is the nation's largest retail propane marketer, serving approximately 2 million customers in all 50 states from approximately 2,500 distribution locations.
